The Quote-Unquote "Professional" Bio "I can't keep cornrows; my hair is too curly, son Too worldly for the artsy cats, too artsy for the worldly ones I've never fit in either world since the beginning And it's not that I'm schizophrenic; It's just that I'M schizophrenic!"
So goes the sordid path of this New Orleans-born poet/prophet/philosopher/puckerer of Sour Gummy Wally Warheads. Droopy is a 20-something year old well-meaning misfit whose pseudo-clever musings about life as we don't know it have managed to pseudo-cleverly facade themselves as "poetry". The Howard University graduate is the author of two self-published books ("Droopy: Dat Boy's A Fool" and "Feel No Way: The Drew Testament") and has just released his debut spoken word CD, "Slamboozled: The Vitreous Humour LP", which is a sonic smorgasbord of poetry, hip hop, music, and random satirical trash talk. Droopy makes the legal portion of his income through hocking the aforementioned products to unsuspecting innocents, and working as a high school biology teacher at Washington Math, Science, and Technology Public Charter High School in Washington, DC. Droopy is also the host of the Thursday night "Spit Dat!" open mic event at the new Java Head Cafe in Northeast DC, and his favorite hobby is plumbing the depths of utter irreverence in the frequently-updated journal of his new website, WWW.BROKEBALLER.COM. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
